Exhibition | Net-Zero Carbon Emissions Social Housing and Smart Buildings

Organized by the New Taipei City Government’s Urban and Rural Development Department, the “Net-Zero Carbon Emissions Social Housing and Smart Buildings” brought together experts from industry, government, and academia to showcase the city’s achievements and vision for green social housing and smart buildings.
The event featured panel discussions, innovative case studies, and an exhibition presenting social housing projects that integrate energy-saving technologies, smart systems, and architectural design—highlighting New Taipei City’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and advancing housing justice.
BaF presented two projects: Luzhou District Public Housing and Xindian Public Housing, including design concepts, outcomes, and models. Architect Lin Chang-Lien also spoke at the forum, delivering a talk on “The Net-Zero Low-Carbon Aesthetics of Social Housing.”
