Exhibition | Po-Wei Lai Presents Parasitic Temples in the Exhibition
2025-11-14
Po-Wei Lai, partner of Bio-architecture Formosana, is currently participating in the New Taipei Art Museum’s ongoing exhibition “The Architecture of Fear and Cure” with his work Parasitic Temples. The project documents how Taiwanese temple architecture strives to “survive in the gaps” of urban environments, revealing diverse micro-religious spaces and their parasitic presence in the city.
The Architecture of Fear and Cure brings together works by 16 architectural and artistic teams from Taiwan and abroad. The exhibition invites visitors to reconsider the essence and meaning of architecture as a human sanctuary.
We warmly invite you to visit the New Taipei Art Museum and experience how Architect Lai responds to the exhibition’s themes through his work.
