The firm forwarded the design of the Collection Pavilion using a minimalist and calm architectural language, respecting the adjacent buildings, and making the relationship between the adjacent buildings more relaxed and harmonious. Although respecting the existing art gallery, through the high-performance but lightweight architectural performance of the collection hall, the design tells a contemporary story while adding value to the existing art gallery environment.
In addition to the volume of the collection hall, the firm propose a new collection avenue where people can enjoy the art collections of the museum while roaming on foot.
The purpose is to bring life into the east side of the art gallery, and at the same time perfect a ring-shaped connection line for the art park.
