Video | Old Wood, New Design — A New Vision for Timber Sustainability

2025-10-22
Organized by the Bio-architecture Formosana Foundation for Architectural Culture & Art, the 2025 Wood Circulation Workshop was inspired by the concept of a low-carbon wood pathway and focused on the small-scale dimension—bringing sustainable design closer to everyday life.
Over the course, fifteen designers and students worked with reclaimed wood, learning craft techniques, exploring the possibilities of material regeneration, and expressing their unique design languages. From discarded timber to distinctive works of craftsmanship, each piece embodies both creativity and warmth.
The workshop successfully concluded on August 1. We invite you to watch the video and revisit this journey where sustainability takes shape through human hands, giving new life to old wood.
