Award | Multipurpose Gongguan Distribution Pond Wins at the Taipei City Distinguished Public Construction Award
2026-10-07
The ” Multipurpose Gongguan Distribution Pond Project,” designed by the team led by Principal Architects Chang, Ching-Hwa and Cheng, Ching-Huang, has won Category II honors in the 2026 Taipei City Distinguished Public Construction Award.
Aligned with the award’s mission to “promote engineering technology and quality,” the project successfully met the Grade A construction inspection threshold and passed a rigorous two-stage review (comprising preliminary on-site and secondary evaluations).
The overall design centers on the concept of “water” by utilizing acoustic panels of varying porosities and a blue-toned color scheme to create a fluid visual effect. This approach brings a bright and inviting atmosphere to the international conference room, departing from the traditionally solemn and silent feel of these spaces.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our client for their trust and to our entire team for their dedication. Moving forward, we will continue our commitment to delivering exceptional public architecture.
