Construction | Groundbreaking Ceremony for MRT development project at Sanxia Station

The groundbreaking ceremony for Exit 1 of the MRT development project at Sanxia Station on the Sanying Line was recently held. Continuing Bio-architecture Formosana’s consistent design approach across multiple stations along the Sanying Line, Principal Architect Kuo, Ying-Chao has designed two residential towers for this project: one rising 14 stories above ground with 2 basement levels, and the other 15 stories above ground with 2 basement levels.
In addition to incorporating a public elderly daycare center at the ground level to provide diverse community services, the project adopts circular and near-zero carbon design strategies. Solar panels are installed on the rooftops to enhance energy efficiency, while environmental factors such as sunlight, shading, and prevailing winds are carefully considered. Generous balconies are designed to facilitate natural ventilation, and the façade materials extend the architectural language of Sanxia Station, shaping a friendly and cohesive urban interface.
