Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City- AI Application Building Officially Opens

Bio-architecture Formosana has recently completed several projects within Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City, and the “AI Application Building” has now officially opened.
Located in Tainan, Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City serves as a key hub for research, validation, and real-world applications in smart green energy technologies, while also forming the core of the “Greater Southern Silicon Valley” initiative. With the launch of the AI Application Building, the district is expected to further strengthen its connection with the Southern Taiwan Science Park, generating an estimated annual output value of NT$2.2 trillion.
The architectural design takes the infinity symbol (∞) as its central concept. Through continuous balconies and curved corners, the building expresses a sense of fluidity and movement. Centered around four key themes — Innovation, Incubation, Interaction, and Intelligence — the project creates a series of dynamic hotspot spaces connected by the “I-Line,” while the high-speed rail network links and amplifies innovation energy across Taiwan.
